A Bit About Me
I realized very quickly growing up that I was never going to be a professional athlete,, yet I always knew I wanted to be around sports. This desire became apparent during my senior year of high school, when I wrote a paper about Vin Scully. It was also this same time frame that I started my first job with the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
My first year with the Hot Rods saw me in many different roles ranging from Stadium DJ, to running line score, to camera operator. My boss at the time saw my raw talent behind the camera, and began steering me in that direction. After spending a couple seasons as an Intern, working my way through the organization and honing my skills through classes and trial by fire, I was hired to be the full time Video Production Manager.
All this was great but something was missing. For every game, I was in the pressbox running the video board, controlling all the music, PA reads, and MiLB Stream. I had a desire to be closer to the action. That led me to Lipscomb. Where I now get to be right there on the sideline, on the field, on the court capturing moments and having a direct relationship with the student athletes to help tell their stories.

Getting to tell their stories, to highlight their plays, and their personalities is what brings me the most joy. Anybody can point a camera and someone and hope they do something cool. But knowing that the person in front of the camera is comfortable opening up to you and can be themselves when playing in a tough game? That's what is special to me.
